Our client is a world-class independent branding and design agency with studios globally, including Berlin. They work with some of the most ambitious technology and consumer brands in the world, from category-defining startups to iconic global companies,n operating at the highest level of brand strategy, identity, and design.

• Proven track record as a Design Director or Senior Designer ready to step up, with strong agency experience
• Exceptional design craft, brand identity, visual systems, art direction across print and digital
• Management experience, ability to lead, mentor and develop a team of designers
• Experience working on premium tech or consumer brands
• Proficient in Figma, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Pitch
• Ability to direct photographers, animators and illustrators
• Strong presentation and client communication skills, comfortable leading workshops and client sessions
• Fluent English; German a strong plus
• Willingness to work in-person in Berlin and travel globally

• Identify, curate and refine great ideas in collaboration with the Creative Director, and teach your team to do the same
• Lead and design in equal parts: champion exceptional brand identities and do whatever is required to make them a reality
• Act as the conduit between Creative Director and Designers, managing both up and down
• Build strong narratives, construct presentations and lead client workshops, continuing the dialogue around the work beyond the presentation
• Collaborate with the Strategy team during immersion and strategic phases
• Demonstrate an exceptional understanding of branding and the creative landscape, delivering for the most impactful companies of today and the founders defining tomorrow
• Manage your own time and your team's time, calendars and meetings to deliver work within scope
• Take and action feedback from your manager; deliver actionable, supportive feedback to your team
• Be an active in-person presence in the Berlin studio, with openness to global travel
