As Head of Conversational Experience & Linguistic AI, you will lead the design and governance of the company´s core language infrastructure. You will define how their AI agents speak — not just what we say, but how, to whom, and why.
From microcopy and tone systems to gesture-based interactions and multilingual AI personas — your work will influence how 1.4 billion people experience the brand.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in conversational UX, AI language systems, UX writing, computational linguistics, or related fields.
- Experience working with large language models (e.g. GPT, Claude, Gemini) and prompt engineering.
- Proven ability to design language systems in high-scale or multilingual environments.
- Familiarity with tone strategy, semiotics, behavioral design, or sociolinguistics.
- Strong interest in the linguistic and cultural mechanics of communication across different languages and regions.
- Awareness of Indic languages (e.g. Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, Tamil, Gujarati) and their role in multilingual systems is a plus, but not required.
- Experience localizing content for diverse audiences is a significant advantage.
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams across design, engineering, and language.
Your Mission
This role goes far beyond content creation. You will build the linguistic and conversational foundation for all AI-powered experiences at the company. Your systems will ensure every message, in every language, feels human, helpful, and aligned with our brand and values.
Key Responsibilities
- Define the company´s Linguistic AI Model, including tone, vocabulary, idioms, punctuation, and communication principles across all channels and touchpoints.
- Design scalable conversational experience systems across text, voice, visual, and gesture-based interfaces.
- Develop culturally adaptive AI personas for diverse user groups, such as seniors, children, farmers, professionals, and students.
- Create prompt frameworks and linguistic grammars that guide both human-written and AI-generated communication.
- Enable smart multilingual experiences through language mapping, automated localization, and tone calibration.
- Establish systems to evaluate and improve communication quality, detect bias, and ensure clarity, trust, and consistency.
- Integrate storytelling, emotional resonance, and contextual dialogue into product journeys.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to build tooling and workflows for language automation, testing, and deployment at scale.
