We're looking for a Lead Product Designer to set the bar for design quality across multiple projects by our client, a top Digital Product Design Studio with offices in Berlin and Cologne.

This is a hands-on leadership role: you’ll create strong design directions, deliver end-to-end product and web experiences, and mentor designers to grow their craft and confidence.

• 6+ years of experience designing digital products, with a proven track record of shipping complex, high-quality work.
• Strong interaction and visual design skills — from UX flows to polished UI.
• Experience mentoring other designers and guiding teams through complex challenges.
• Confident working across multiple projects at once, with the ability to set priorities and balance hands-on design with leadership.
• Fluent in modern design tools like Figma, with a strong understanding of design systems and accessibility principles.
• Clear communicator who can explain design decisions with depth and precision.

• Drive design execution: Translate product strategy and user insights into clear, elegant interfaces and interaction models.
• Set direction: Define and communicate design visions that align teams and clients, ensuring coherence across multiple workstreams.
• Mentor and support: Coach designers through feedback, critique, and shared learning, raising the level of design quality across the team.
• Shape scalable systems: Build and evolve design systems, patterns, and workflows to increase speed, consistency, and impact.
• Collaborate deeply: Work closely with product, engineering, and strategy to bridge disciplines and align decisions early.
• Represent design: Present work and rationale with clarity — in client meetings, pitches, and internal sessions.
