Our client is a world-class independent branding and design agency with studios globally, including Berlin. They work with some of the most ambitious technology and consumer brands in the world, from category-defining startups to iconic global companies, operating at the highest level of brand strategy, identity, and design.

• Proven experience as a Strategy Director or Senior Strategist ready to step up, with strong agency background
• Track record working on world-class tech or consumer brands
• Exceptional brand strategy craft, from cultural insight and positioning to narrative and creative territories
• Strong leadership and team management skills, managing up and down with equal confidence
• Outstanding presentation and client communication skills
• Ability to collaborate closely with design teams and translate strategy into creative direction
• Proficient in Figjam, Pitch and Notion
• Fluent English; German a strong plus
• Willingness to work in-person in Berlin and travel globally

• Identify, curate and refine outstanding brand strategies in collaboration with leadership, and teach your team to do the same
• Manage your time effectively across a range of active projects: lead your team and craft strategies yourself
• Champion world-class brand strategies and do whatever is required practically or creatively to make them a reality
• Direct experienced collaborators, ensuring outstanding work, and work towards becoming a valued advisor to clients
• Collaborate closely with the Design team, drive verbalising creative territories, and ensure strategy carries through the creative phases
• Construct and present client presentations eloquently
• Mentor less experienced team members while learning from senior directors
• Manage your own and your team’s time, calendars and meetings to deliver within scope
• Take and action feedback from your manager; deliver actionable, supportive feedback to your team
• Be an active in-person presence in the Berlin studio, with openness to global travel
